INTRODUCTION
RSJ Investments is a specialist property investment and asset management company, focused on placing investors’ funds into the student housing and commercial property sectors. We have been active in the market since 1999 and have successfully built portfolios on behalf of our investors for well over a decade. At present, we have circa £45m of assets under management.
AIM
Our aim is to provide our investors with a comprehensive investment service, enabling them to benefit from our detailed knowledge and contacts within the market, as well as our experience of stock selection and asset management in both the commercial and student housing sectors. Our personal and targeted approach to investments enables us to build portfolios that suit our investors’ aims and benefit from high yielding sectors without the associated management issues.
PHILOSOPHY
We have a unique philosophy that differentiates us from other property investments:
– Ownership of the underlying assets are in the investors own/corporate name (we are not a fund).
– We manage these properties to maximise both income returns and capital growth. We look at assets that generate high income returns.
– We build investor portfolios in line with the risk and income profile specified by investors by providing a bespoke and tailored service to each and every investor. You will get the direct and personal attention of the principles at all times.
Simon James
Managing Director
Simon is a chartered surveyor who has worked in the property industry for 19 years and has significant experience in fund management, student accommodation and commercial property. He worked as a valuer for Donaldons and then as an investment agent in the West End for GVA. In 2005 he joined Invista Real Estate Investment management and ran a portfolio in excess of £300 million for property funds such as Clerical Medical, Halifax and St James’s Place. He founded RSJ Investments with Roger James in 2010.
Roger James
Non Executive Director
Roger is a qualified lawyer who trained at city firm Reed and Smith. He is currently SVP & General Council for MTV Networks International & UK. He co-founded RSJ Investments.
